Job summary

CyberTrend is seeking a Software Engineer I with TS/SCI clearance in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will develop and maintain complex software systems across processing-intensive analytics, real-time data handling, and large data sets, collaborating with teams and following documented requirements.

The role requires 7+ years of SWE experience in similar programs, a CS-related degree (or substitution), and familiarity with modern toolchains like Confluence, JIRA, MapReduce, Hadoop, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years’ experience as a software engineer on complex defense-related systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; four extra SWE years may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Review tests, resolve defects, and document results.
• Provide input on system design, hardware/software trade-offs, and data flows.
• Lead software development activities as assigned.
