Job summary

Leidos in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Security Operations Specialist to manage security across multiple classification levels and support DoD senior leadership. You will work with the ISSO/ISSM to ensure NISPOM compliance, update SOPs, and maintain TS/SCI security protocols.

The role is on-site in Alexandria with occasional duty at the Pentagon; parking is provided and transportation between sites is arranged.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years.
• Strong understanding of SCIF operations and DoD security standards.
• Site Security Manager/Officer experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TS/SCI facility security management, including training, storage, handling, and disposal of classified materials.
• Ensure compliance with security procedures and visitor management protocols.
• Maintain security policies, procedures, and credentialing for the TS/SCI facility.
• Conduct monthly safety checks, including fire extinguisher inspections.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with key stakeholders.
• Process and manage security-related documentation and access requests. Provide customer support and visitor escort services, assisting with parking and logistics.
• Assist in personnel onboarding and out-processing for security programs.
• Offer administrative and operational support, ensuring seamless security compliance.
• Serve as a backup for other operations team members as needed.
