Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Security Monitor with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to join our team in Springfield, VA. The position pays $25.00 per hour on an SCA contract.

Responsibilities include monitoring and escorting uncleared personnel, producing verbal and written incident reports, and maintaining continuous visual contact with escorted individuals while adhering to PPE and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum HS diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year security experience preferred.
• Able to stand or sit for long periods.
• Able to provide written and verbal incident reports.
• Must be a US citizen with TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and escort uncleared persons at the facility.
• Provide verbal and written reports on safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents.
• Maintain visual contact and proper line of sight with uncleared personnel.
• Respond professionally to all personnel.
• Remain alert and awake to monitor escorted individuals.
• Work around construction areas and wear PPE as required.
• Work in industrial locations (mechanical and electrical rooms, etc.).
• Sanitize areas prior to escorting personnel into designated work areas.
• Walk long distances, climb stairs, sit/stand for long periods.
• Wear company-provided dress code if required.
• Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
