Job summary

Amentum in Falls Church, VA is seeking a vigilant Physical Security Specialist to protect critical assets for a US intelligence community customer. The role includes monitoring, reporting, and coordinating with security teams on site. Shift hours are 1700-0500.

You must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret clearance, willingness to take a polygraph, and ability to travel to various sites. On-the-job training and growth opportunities accompany this position.

Qualifications

• US Citizen at time of application.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Willing to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance if requested.
• Must work weekends, holidays, overtime and travel to different site locations.
• At least 6 months security experience or 2 years construction/trades experience.
• Must meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Observe, inspect, and report construction site work.
• Evaluate and develop physical, personnel and technical security.
• Produce written reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Conduct physical equipment and personnel searches on site.
• Operate security devices and monitoring systems solo or in teams.
• Report suspicious behavior and correlate site blueprints with ICD-705 standards.
