Job summary

Amentum seeks a Security Monitor in Springfield, VA with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to join our team on an SCA contract. The role pays $25.00 per hour and requires US citizenship, clearance, and ability to stand for long periods in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring and escorting personnel, reporting incidents, maintaining line of sight, and wearing required PPE while working around active construction areas.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a HS diploma or GED.
• 1+ year security experience preferred.
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time.
• Must be a US Citizen, and possess and maintain a fully adjudicated Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and escort uncleared persons at the facility.
• Provide verbal and written reports regarding safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents.
• Maintain visual contact and line of sight with uncleared personnel.
• Respond professionally to all personnel.
• Remain alert and awake to provide security monitoring of escorted individuals.
• Work around active construction areas and wear PPE as required.
• Work in industrial locations (mechanical and electrical rooms).
• Sanitize areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel into designated work areas.
• Walk long distances, climb stairs, sit/stand for long periods.
• Wear company dress uniform if provided.
• Perform other position related duties as assigned.

The position pays $25.00 an hour on an SCA contract.

• Provide verbal and written reports regarding pertinent safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents.

• Always maintain visual contact and proper line of sight with uncleared personnel.

• Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel.

• Remain alert and always awake to provide appropriate security monitoring of escorted individuals.

• Work around active construction areas and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Work in industrial locations (mechanical and electrical rooms, etc.).

• Properly sanitize areas prior to escorting uncleared personnel into designated work areas.

• Walk long distances, climb stairs (including stepladders, etc.), sit/stand for long periods of time.

• Wear appropriate work attire which may include a company provided dress uniform.

• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a HS diploma or GED

• 1+ year security experience preferred

• Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time.

• Ability to provide written and verbal incident reports to various customers.

• Will be required to work at the Annual Family Day event on a Saturday in September

• Impeccable attendance history

• Must be a US Citizen, and possess and maintain a fully adjudicated Top Secret/SCI
