Job summary

Amentum is seeking a personnel security SME/Name Check Analyst to join our team in the Washington Metropolitan Area, performing thorough reviews of security clearance and personnel data across multiple sources to produce comprehensive summaries.

The role requires strong analytical and briefing skills, the ability to coach colleagues, and adherence to ICD 704/SEAD guidelines, with shifts Mon-Fri 5:30am-6pm at a fixed customer location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting security clearance processing functions
• 5+ years of experience supporting the Pelican customer and utilizing systems of record
• Experience creating and issuing oral and written case briefings
• Proficient in creating succinct executive summary level documents incorporating multiple data points and sources
• Demonstrated superior customer service and professionalism
• Ability to use sound judgment and discretion in the handling of sensitive information
• Ability work independently and collaboratively with a team
• Demonstrated analytical ability and the ability to handle a medium to large, semi complex workload
• Expertise of ICD 704 or SEAD guidelines
• Knowledge and ability to use computer operating systems/tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in a security related study (or equivalent experience 5 years of additional work experience in a relevant field)
• US government issued TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required at time of application
