Job summary

re-zoo-me is seeking a software developer to create distributed web and enterprise applications using C/C++ and Java for DoW-related projects. You will participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation within an Agile team.

The role involves working primarily in Stafford, VA with up to 20% travel ConUS/OCONUS, and requires the ability to obtain a DoW IA certification and US citizenship. Collaboration across mixed government and contractor teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related STEM field.
• 1+ years of full-time professional programming experience in C, C++, and make files.
• Able to work independently and in a team with good communication and analytical skills.
• Experience on Windows and RHEL environments, including the Linux CLI.
• Ability to obtain a DoW IA workforce certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+).

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements with stakeholders and users.
• Develop Java and C/C++ based software applications to meet requirements.
• Test, install, and maintain software on Windows and primarily RHEL; some work at remote sites.
