Job summary

TSC is seeking a Java-focused software engineer to develop distributed web and enterprise applications for DoD projects. You will participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, installation, and documentation, primarily from Stafford, VA.

Join a mixed government and contractor Agile team. Candidates should have a CS/STEM degree, 1+ years Java experience, and the ability to work on Windows and RHEL. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related STEM field is required.
• Master’s degree is desirable.
• Professional experience, certifications, and demonstrated skills may substitute for a formal degree.

Responsibilities

• Interface with stakeholders and users to gather and document requirements.
• Develop Java based software applications to meet requirements.
• Test, install, and maintain software on Windows and primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). Some work may be performed at remote sites.
