Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer to support mission-critical system engineering efforts within a complex technical environment. You will contribute to development, integration, and verification of systems that enable mission success, aligning architectures with operational requirements.

You will work with engineering teams to manage system requirements, support technical documentation, and ensure systems meet performance and mission objectives. MBSE approaches with Cameo are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• 17 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with defined system architectures (DoDAF, SOA, etc.)
• Define methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for verifying systems, subsystems, and work products against requirements in written plans
• Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level requirements, ensuring they are complete, correct, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable
• Prepare timeline analysis diagrams illustrating the flow of time-dependent functions
