Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Mission Management Support Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission unit in Jessup, MD. You will support MMIP, directing technical engagements and managing product delivery across enterprise systems with a focus on lifecycle management and process improvement.

The ideal candidate holds an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and has extensive systems engineering experience, enabling effective collaboration with government and industry partners and transition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline with ≥20 years of systems engineering experience; advanced degrees may substitute for 2 years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Provide integration support for MMIP across funded organizations and coordinate requirements, trade-offs, engineering analysis and risk assessment.
• Evaluate SIGINT methodologies against mission requirements and design process improvements for engineering teams and management processes.
• Lead technical coordination of current JIRA tickets and develop detailed way-ahead plans to enable progress and mitigate issues.
• Coordinate internal actions for test/evaluation and engage with government and industry partners; document inputs from Compliance, MERA, MMIP and PEOs.
• Support mission operations and capability development teams in transitioning legacy systems to new technology and decommissioning obsolete systems.
• Capture and clarify user and system requirements; resolve actions from configuration control boards, design reviews and program reviews.
