Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to support mission-critical system engineering efforts within a complex environment. Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph
• Seventeen years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or related discipline
• Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Contribute to systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure delivery of production systems compatible with defined system architectures (DoDAF, SOA, etc.)
• Define methods, processes, and evaluation criteria for verifying systems, subsystems, and work products against requirements in written plans
• Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level requirements, ensuring they are complete, correct, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable
• Prepare timeline analysis diagrams illustrating the flow of time-dependent functions
