Job summary

Akina Inc seeks a DevOps professional to architect and operate a robust, scalable platform coordinating microservices for a secure environment in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will build IaC, script automation, and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, and Docker.

You will own CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD, driving technical direction and cost-saving initiatives. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 12+ years of related experience,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience architecting infrastructure leveraging AWS technologies.
• Developing IaC and scripting to automate tasks and provision services.
• Strong background in containerization with Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker, Docker Compose.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and cost reduction for AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a reliable, scalable platform orchestrating microservices.
• Develop IaC and scripting to automate tasks and manage cloud resources.
• Install, configure, and performance-tune Kubernetes/EKS/ECS/Docker environments.
• Lead CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD.
• Drive costs optimization and align infra with program needs.
• Coordinate sprint planning and track ticket execution.
