Qualifications

• 12+ years of Systems Engineering experience in programs of similar scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related field; 4 years may substitute for degree.
• Experience with SSP processes and compliance (STE/STN).

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and direct the daily tasks of two system administrators.
• Collaborate with a larger team of 25+ software engineers for system design.
• Provide guidance for overall system design and setup with software teams.
• Maintain system platforms and health of servers (EC2, bare metal) and production systems.
• Oversee system maintenance, security, and SSP accreditations.
• Ensure observability: automation, monitoring, backups, and DR across environments.
• Keep documentation up to date and conduct post-mortems to drive improvements.
