5+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure, or DevSecOps in a cloud environment.
Strong Linux/Unix CLI proficiency on RHEL-based systems.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Kubernetes.
Hands-on Kubernetes—cluster operations, workload management, networking, troubleshooting.
Strong Docker proficiency—Dockerfiles, hardened images, pipeline integration.
Familiarity with automation scripting in Python and Bash.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and distributed teams.
CompTIA Security+ or ability to certify promptly.
Willing to work onsite in Sterling, VA.

Responsibilities

CI/CD pipeline management: Build, maintain, and scale Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
System Reliability & Monitoring: Implement observability, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Scripting & Automation: Write and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate manual operational tasks.
