Job summary

Akina Inc. is seeking a Development Operations Engineer 0 in Annapolis Junction, MD, for hands-on Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker DevOps work. The role emphasizes building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices within a security-conscious DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years' experience with software and system deployments, Linux system admin, containerization, cloud deployments, DevSecOps.
• Recent Kubernetes experience within the last three years.
• Recent cluster orchestration and containerization experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; DoD 8570 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network services from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab.
• Manage and optimize Linux systems and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Operate Kubernetes clusters for high availability and security; manage hybrid cloud environments.
