Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to support our Intelligence customer in Springfield, VA or St Louis, MO. You will work on an Agile team developing and maintaining a PaaS across security domains, deploying OpenShift, and integrating data services like RabbitMQ, Redis, and PostgreSQL.

The role requires 5+ years of developer experience, DoD 8570 IAT Level II, and a Bachelor's degree; we offer a comprehensive benefits package

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.
5-8 years Developer experience
Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA

Responsibilities

O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift environment across multiple security domains in both Cloud and datacenter (vSphere) environments
Support OpenShift operators and frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, RedHat GitOps
Deploy OpenShift to new sites as they come online
Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them
Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions
Support data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, Elastic Stack
