Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a DevOps Team Lead to oversee a skilled team supporting critical systems in OpenShift environments. You will direct cloud architecture, automation, and security hardening to meet stringent public-sector requirements.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, a STEM or IT degree, and 7+ years of leadership experience across multiple environments. On-site location in Missouri with focus on DevOps lifecycle and compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or STEM field.
• 7+ years leading a team for system sustainment, admin, security and testing across environments.
• 5+ years with DoD Cyber Security requirements and implementations.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud services.
• Current Security+ certification.
• Experience with SAFe Agile development.
• Experience documenting technical manuals and training materials.
• Knowledge of containerization, monitoring/logging, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps team to support customer systems in multiple environments and enclaves.
• Direct and manage DevOps team for issue investigation and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate software problem analysis, testing, system and security administration.
• Create and maintain operations and security documentation (SLAs, SOPs).
• Handle code receipt from development to perform builds and hardening.
• Perform automated testing and security scans; ensure security compliance.
• Manage system PKI certifications across environments.
• Author Helm charts for deployments to OpenShift environments.
