Job summary

D2 Consulting is seeking a Junior Helpdesk Specialist in St. Louis, MO. The role supports the Single-Point-of-Contact IT Service Desk and requires an ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance.

Scheduling includes a Wednesday shift with Saturday 8am and 6pm CST, in a fast-paced contracting environment. The candidate will provide first-contact IT support, perform diagnostics, reset accounts, and escalate issues as needed, while maintaining excellent customer service and documentation in the incident

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical IT field or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of IT experience or IT certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow preferred.
• Intelligence Community experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT Level I within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Respond to queries, run diagnostics, isolate problems, and implement solutions.
• Respond to email or chat messages from customers seeking help.
• Walk customers through problem-solving steps and document resolutions.
• Run diagnostic programs to resolve issues and follow up to ensure resolution.
