Job summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to develop, test, and maintain software from requirements through production delivery. You’ll work with engineers, architects, product owners, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software solutions. This is an onsite role in Washington, DC and requires a U.S.

citizenship with TS/SCI clearance. You will develop backend services, APIs, data integrations, and frontend capabilities within established

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
4+ years in software engineering with full-stack experience.
3+ years building applications with Python/Java.
2+ years building web apps with React/Angular.
Experience with RESTful APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Experience using Jira for tasks and project tracking.
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Responsibilities

Develop backend services, APIs, data integrations, and user-facing capabilities.
Use modern development tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies to solve problems.
Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and quality improvements.
Collaborate with senior engineers to evaluate approaches and improve delivery practices.
