Job summary

CACI seeks a Full Stack Developer in Sterling, VA and Cary, NC to build scalable, high-performance applications for counter unmanned systems. You will design features across infrastructure and platform capabilities, collaborating with senior engineers to translate requirements into working software.

The role requires Java/Spring Boot backend, modern JS framework experience (Angular/React), and cloud tech familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with commercial cloud technologies (e.g. AWS GovCloud).
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend service and REST API development.
• Experience with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework (Angular or React).
• Familiarity with Groovy/Grails a plus (legacy components).
• Familiarity with relational and search-based data stores (PostgreSQL, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch).
• Knowledge of microservices, containerization, security principles, OOD, web services.
• Experience leading and/or integrating Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack web applications with technical leadership on software architecture.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and responsive UIs using Java/Spring Boot and Angular or React.
• Collaborate across engineering teams, program management, and customers to execute lifecycles.
• Deploy and maintain mission-essential systems using Docker, Kubernetes/Helm, and Git practices.
• Debug full-stack issues, participate in code reviews, and improve reliability and performance.
