You will build scalable systems, participate in agile processes, and deliver robust RESTful APIs while working with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript in a collaborative environment. The role requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and full-time onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in OO languages with a focus on Python.
• At least 2 years of JavaScript or TypeScript experience.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Understanding of the full SDLC including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Ability to write clean, well-documented, testable code.
• Experience with unit, integration, and system tests.
• Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments with sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews.
• Ability to work in an office full-time.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
• Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment.
• Managing end-to-end life cycle for production of software and applications.
• Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software.
• Overseeing automated testing and providing feedback to management during development.
• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs.
