Job summary

Nalley Consulting seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer at DIA HQ in Washington, DC. Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph required.

You will develop, integrate, test, and maintain software across the stack, collaborating with engineers, architects, product owners, and mission stakeholders. The role emphasizes backend services, RESTful APIs, data integrations, and user-facing features within established architectures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, including developing, testing, integrating, or maintaining software applications
• 3+ years of experience developing applications using Python, Java, or another object-oriented programming language
• 2+ years of experience developing web applications using frontend technologies or frameworks, such as React or Angular
• Experience developing or integrating backend services and RESTful APIs
• Experience developing applications using relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, and working with SQL
• Experience working within Agile software development environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience using software development and task management tools, such as Jira
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or additional software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, test, and maintain software capabilities from requirements through production delivery
• Work across the technology stack and collaborate with engineers, architects, product owners, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable and maintainable software solutions
• Develop backend services, APIs, data integrations, and user-facing capabilities within established architectures and engineering standards
• Participate in technical design discussions, troubleshoot issues, conduct code reviews, and contribute to improvements in software quality and maintainability
