Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to support a DoD AI transformation initiative. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable applications using agentic AI, LLMs, knowledge graphs, and enterprise software within DoD environments.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI required).
• 5+ years as a full stack developer with upward trajectory; government/defense program experience preferred.
• Experience delivering enterprise software to government production environments, including hands-on AI/ML initiatives and complex systems integration.
• Experience on Agile, cross-functional engineering teams delivering modern cloud-based solutions.
• Understanding of secure software development practices and RMF/NIST publications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement autonomous AI agents for planning, reasoning, and multi-step workflows.
• Develop orchestration pipelines using modern agent frameworks.
• Integrate government-approved Large Language Models into enterprise applications.
• Create ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data; build knowledge graphs and analytics integration.
• Develop secure, scalable microservices and containerized applications with CI/CD support.
• Implement secure coding practices aligned with DoD cybersecurity requirements and assist with Authority to Operate activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related technical discipline
