Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to support a mission-critical GEOINT program for an Intelligence Community customer. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering modern, cloud-native software that enables national security missions, with a focus on secure, scalable microservices and APIs.

Qualifications

• Web development with HTML, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and REST APIs.
• Modern front-end and back-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, or Flask).
• Cloud development on AWS or Azure.
• Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
• Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Version control with Git.
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or Jenkins).
• Agile collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Secure coding practices and government accreditation processes (RMF, STIGs).

Responsibilities

• Spans the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Build and maintain secure, containerized microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Participate in Agile sprints, stand-ups, planning and retrospectives.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines while meeting security and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with mission users and product managers to refine requirements.
• Perform code reviews and mentor fellow developers.
• Resolve prioritized tasks with internal teams.
