Job summary

Visionist Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a funded program on a mission-focused contract.

The role emphasizes developing and maintaining full-stack apps that support analytic workflows, and expanding AI-driven tooling in collaboration with analysts and customers. The position requires a BS in a technical field (or equivalent experience) and at least 3 years in software engineering, with JavaScript and Python proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 3 years of experience in Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications that support mission operations and analytic workflows.
• Support the development of agentic tools that gather, organize, and curate information packages from multiple data sources.
• Expand existing workflow automation efforts to streamline processes and improve mission efficiency.
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand their workflows and feedback for software improvements.
• Work with customer leadership, analysts, and developers to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with other development teams to support shared technical approaches and mission requirements.
