Job summary

World Wide Technology seeks a Federal infrastructure Specialist with an active TS/SCI clearance to deliver large-scale ISP/OSP projects in secure federal environments across the DC area. You will lead site surveys, design robust infrastructure, and drive transitions from discovery to field execution with strong onsite leadership.

Responsibilities include issue remediation, stakeholder communication, and adherence to federal security protocols.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required for role.
• 6-8 years in telecommunications infrastructure, structured cabling, and OSP/ISP design.
• Experience conducting site surveys and documenting conditions for upgrades or deployments.
• Proven success architecting infrastructure within SCIFs, data centers, or secure DoD facilities.
• Expert knowledge of fiber optics, OSP civils, ISP spaces, and Cat 6/6A infrastructure.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering designs, GIS maps, splicing matrices, and construction drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers, project leads and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead issue resolution and remediation onsite to maintain momentum.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, project leads, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site surveys documenting existing infrastructure and gaps.
• Collaborate on design of robust ISP/OSP infrastructure solutions.
• Manage transition from survey/design through implementation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, BICSI, TIA/EIA and federal standards.
