Job summary

World Wide Technology’s Government Services team seeks a Federal infrastructure Specialist with an active TS/SCI clearance to design and deliver large-scale ISP/OSP projects in secure environments across the DC area. You will conduct detailed site surveys, engineer solutions, and guide transitions from discovery to field execution.

Responsibilities include issue resolution, stakeholder communication, and ensuring compliance with federal standards.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 6-8 years in telecommunications infrastructure, structured cabling, and ISP/OSP design.
• Experience conducting site surveys and documenting conditions.
• Proven experience in SCIFs, data centers, or secure DoD facilities.
• Expert knowledge of fiber optics, OSP civils, ISP spaces, and Cat6/6A cabling.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and communicate with customers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and design ISP/OSP infrastructure for secure federal environments.
• Conduct comprehensive site surveys and document existing conditions.
• Lead transition from survey through implementation with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, BICSI, TIA/EIA, and federal standards.
• Interface with customers, project leads, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Oversee project delivery and maintain project milestones.
