Job summary

World Wide Technology, Inc. seeks a Federal Infrastructure Specialist in Washington, DC, on-site, with an active TS/SCI clearance. You will lead inside and outside plant infrastructure projects, conduct site surveys, and engineer robust ISP/OSP solutions for secure federal environments.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to transition from discovery to deployment, ensuring compliance with federal standards and successful project delivery within the DC metro area.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret / SCI clearance required.
• 6–8 years in telecommunications infrastructure, cabling, and ISP/OSP design and delivery.
• Experience designing and delivering infrastructure in SCIFs, data centers or secure DoD/federal facilities.
• Knowledge of fiber optics (single/multi-mode), OSP civils, ISP spaces, and Cat 6/6A cabling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to interface with customers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite issue resolution and remediation to maintain project momentum.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, project leads, and subcontractors; facilitate status updates and escalation.
• Conduct comprehensive site surveys documenting existing infrastructure and gaps.
• Collaborate to design robust ISP/OSP infrastructure and create high-level and detailed engineering plans.
• Manage the transition from survey and design to implementation.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, BICSI, TIA/EIA and federal standards; maintain field logs and progress reports.
• Oversee project delivery from planning through implementation, aligned with milestones and security protocols.
