Job summary

B4Corp is seeking a Software Engineer (SME) in Bethesda, MD, to design, develop, test, and deploy software within a DevSecOps framework. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and a strong background in Java, Python, SpringBoot, and cloud services.

Responsibilities include API/microservice development, data lake management, automated testing, and CI/CD deployments. Seniority ranges with several experience levels are described; the team emphasizes collaboration across Agile teams and ongoing

Qualifications

• Proficient with Agile practices and DevSecOps.
• Expert in Java, Spring and C2S.
• Experience delivering with DevOps toolchains.
• Expert in software testing with JUnit/Katalon.
• Proficient scripting with Python/Bash.
• Experience integrating services DBs (DynamoDB, Postgres, MySQL).
• Experience with Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong communications and version control skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement using Java, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate.
• Develop APIs and microservices.
• Manage and control data in an enterprise data lake.
• Enable data search, correlation, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and validate software with unit testing (JUnit, Katalon).
• Integrate CI/CD deployments using DevOps tools.
• Leverage GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and Unix scripting.
• Coordinate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters for User Story alignment.
• Support SAFe Agile lifecycle and document deployments across environments.
