B4Corp is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Bethesda, MD, to design, develop, and deploy software and cloud solutions within a DevOps framework. The role requires handling major deliverables across the SDLC, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive Java/Spring experience, cloud proficiency, and a track record in Agile environments. Competitive compensation with strong retirement and benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph is required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience preferred for senior levels, with growth into Level 3.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring, cloud services, and DevOps tooling.
• Experience delivering software in Agile environments with SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Participates in software development using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate.
• Develops validation and testing methods using Junit/Katalon and automated deployment tools.
• Develops, prototypes and deploys solutions on Commercial Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Collaborates with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to align user stories with customer use cases.
• Supports the DevOps lifecycle with GitHub, Jenkins, Unix scripting; uses Jira/Confluence to track work.
• Analyzes performance and end-to-end testing to coordinate infrastructure needs.
• Implements best practices and SOPs to meet customer technical needs.
