Job summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer at B4Corp in Bethesda, MD to join a program requiring TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. You will work in a DevOps–driven environment, contributing to design, development, testing, and deployment across cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes Java, Spring, and cloud services, with collaboration across Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure alignment with customer use cases. A top-tier compensation package accompanies an emphasis on mission-driven work.

Qualifications

• Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph required.
• Java, Spring, and cloud-based development experience.
• DevOps toolset and SDLC familiarity with Agile practices.
• Experience with testing tools (JUnit, Katalon) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and cloud data services (S3, RDS, EFS).
• Version control and issue tracking systems proficiency.
• HS diploma with extensive experience or BS/MS with relevant years of practice.

Responsibilities

• Participate in software programming initiatives with Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, Hibernate.
• Develop and direct software system validation, testing, and automation deployment techniques.
• Develop, prototype, and deploy solutions on Commercial Cloud Platforms, leveraging cloud services.
• Coordinate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to align User Stories with use cases.
• Support Agile lifecycle using DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
• Document software development and deployment across environments using GitFlow.
• Apply best practices and SOPs to meet customer technical needs.
