Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced development team onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will apply deep expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, automation, and Linux administration to build, operate, and scale cloud and edge infrastructure supporting critical programs.

Qualifications

• Requires active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizen.
• 5+ years in DevOps or software development with relevant degree; or 3 years with a Master's degree; or 9 years with HS diploma.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda).
• Proficient in configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience deploying and scaling apps, containers, and OS.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with Git, Flux, and deployment tools.
• Proficient in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of AGILE methodologies and toolchains.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certs (or ability to obtain).
• Willingness to work onsite at Ft. Belvoir, VA and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain cloud infra in AWS (EKS) and on-prem/edge systems.
• Automate deployment with CI/CD pipelines and config management.
• Manage Kubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate apps into the infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production reliability and performance.
• Continuously improve processes and tooling for high availability.
• Stay current with new technologies and industry trends.
