Job summary
GRVTY is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Herndon, VA, to design and maintain scalable, high-volume data alerting systems. You will manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes (EKS) and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3) using Terraform for IaC, while ensuring robust routing and DNS for high availability.
Ideal candidates bring TS/SCI with Polygraph, Kafka experience, and a DevOps mindset to drive secure, observable CI/CD pipelines and proactive incident response.
Qualifications
- Clearance TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging platforms is required.
- DevOps experience across cloud-native environments is essential.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3) is expected.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain scalable, resilient systems for high-volume data alerts.
- Orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes (EKS) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform to automate provisioning.
- Design robust routing and DNS to ensure high availability across distributed systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve security, monitoring, and observability (Grafana).
- Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize cloud security and automation.
