GRVTY in Herndon, VA seeks a TS/SCI DevOps Engineer to join a high-security project. You will design and maintain DevOps pipelines across private clouds, build scalable systems, and collaborate with cybersecurity, software engineers, and infrastructure teams.

This role emphasizes automation, IaC, and secure deployments using GitLab, Terraform, Kubernetes, and other open-source tools. You will help ensure reliability for a government customer and support mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI and ability to pass CI polygraph.
• 5+ years as a DevOps engineer; Bachelors or 3 years with Masters.
• Strong programming in Python, Go, Java, C#, or similar.
• Cloud expertise with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with IaC tools Terraform/Ansible.
• Solid CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or similar.
• Linux (RedHat/Rocky/Alma) administration and security best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana/ELK.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage highly available applications for reliability and scalability.
• Build clean, maintainable automation code in Python/Go/Java/C#.
• Create CLI tools, APIs, and dashboards to streamline development.
• Operate Nomad/Kubernetes clusters for workloads.
• Configure DNS and performance tuning for enterprise systems.
• Implement IaC using Terraform/Ansible.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab; automate deployments.
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot system issues proactively.
• Automate security testing in CI/CD with ACAS/Trivy.
• Assist cybersecurity in false positive remediation and evidence.
