Job summary

Vantor in Herndon, VA seeks a seasoned DevSecOps professional to design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines integrating security at every stage. You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, Keycloak, and CI/CD tools, ensuring rapid, secure deployments.

Requirements include active TS/SCI clearance, 8+ years of experience, and hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins or GitLab, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet or Chef, and OpenStack/OpenShift. Onsite work is expected with a strong Agile background.

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI and be willing to pass a CI polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related discipline.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with Git, Bash, Python, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Experience with automated deployment technologies such as CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Cloud deployment experience on OpenStack or OpenShift.
• Open-source application deployments and maintenance.
• Moderate Linux system administration (RedHat/CentOS).
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows, web services and SQL databases.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Onsite work readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain DevOps/DevSecOps pipelines with industry tools.
• Integrate automated deployments leveraging Keycloak, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift and Rancher.
• Implement CI/CD to support rapid development and integration.
• Automate environments with infrastructure as code.
• Integrate static code analysis and security into pipelines.
• Design hybrid cloud/local deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with engineers to automate tests and documentation.
• Monitor deployment status with dashboards and troubleshoot issues.
