Akina Inc. in Fort Meade, MD seeks a high-caliber software engineer to join a rapid development and deployment environment.

In this role you will architect, build, and maintain large-scale distributed web applications and cloud-native systems, collaborating with analysts and security researchers in offensive cyber space to deliver capabilities under tight timelines. Applicants should have TS/SCI – Polygraph, 12+ years SWE experience, and a CS-related degree.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SWE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• 4 additional SWE years may substitute for a degree
• Experience with high-side development environments and non-attributed network configurations
• Experience with CI/CD, Git-based version control, and agile workflows

Responsabilités

• Architect scalable microservices, REST middleware, and data processing pipelines for high-tempo missions
• Deploy and manage services across cloud-native and high-side environments using IaC and DevOps automation
• Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD)
• Collaborate with mission analysts and vulnerability researchers to integrate best practices into tooling
• Utilize AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery
