Job summary

Akina Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer 3 in Annapolis Junction, Maryland to build and maintain AI infrastructure tools and applications.

You will drive high-quality software, ensure reliability and security, and collaborate with customers to elicit requirements and deliver solutions. The role requires TS/SCI polygraph clearance, a minimum of twelve years as a SWE in a similar program, and a Bachelor's in CS or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12)+ years of SWE experience in similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required; four (4) years additional SWE experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality AI tools and applications for the workforce to use.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security of AI tools and services.
• Modify Free and Open-Source Software to fit customer use cases.
• Lead AI Tools and Applications initiatives and coordinate work across teams.
• Provide coaching and feedback to assigned team members.
