Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking a skilled Microservices Developer to modernize a legacy system using a microservices architecture. You will build Java Spring Boot microservices on AWS, design REST services, and implement CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative, Agile environment.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and a strong foundation in software engineering and mathematics. Flexible remote options and a strong benefits package accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph; U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience; Associate's 8 years or high school diploma/GED 10 years experience considered for related work.
• Degree must be from an accredited college or university. Certifications count as a year of experience.
• Proficient in software development processes, programming, and delivering quality software.

Responsibilities

• Write Java Spring Boot based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies.
• Build REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD using Maven, GitLab and GitOps.
• Participate in Agile software development and delivery.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
