Job summary

Onyx Point, LLC. seeks a System Automation Software Engineer to modernize legacy systems with microservices and cutting-edge tech. You will test manually and automatically, write tests with Cucumber and Playwright, and contribute to CI/CD and Agile practices.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance and U.S. citizenship, with compensation ranging widely based on location and expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Associate’s with 11+ years, or high school diploma/GED with 13+ years if experience is strong.
• Certifications count as a year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Modernize a legacy system using a microservices architecture.
• Utilize a test framework to execute manual and automated tests.
• Author tests using Cucumber and Playwright.
• Knowledgeable in microservices design, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, and Agile methodology.
• Execute load, performance, chaos, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Engage in Agile development and delivery of software.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
