Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Facilities Manager to join our Air Force / Space team at Eglin AFB.

The Facilities Manager’s primary function is to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services (53rd WTSS) contract. Responsibilities include managing personnel, maintaining contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance while coordinating space planning and emergency response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree
• 2+ years direct/related experience
• Experience with MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee maintenance contracts
• Managing personnel, supervising and coordinating work of contractors
• Act as primary liaison between agency and contracted companies
• Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements and comply with government laws and regulations
• Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises
• Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
• Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise on a daily basis
