Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Facilities Manager to support the United States Air Force’s 53rd Wing Technical Support Services contract at Eglin AFB. This role entails managing maintenance contracts, coordinating contractors, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a U.S.

government environment. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or 2 years substituting for a degree) and 2+ years of related experience, plus proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline; 2 years may substitute for a degree.
• 2+ years direct/related experience.
• Experience with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee maintenance contracts.
• Managing personnel, supervising and coordinating work of contractors.
• Act as primary liaison between agency and contracted companies.
• Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements and complies with government laws and regulations.
• Planning best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings or reorganizing current premises.
• Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
• Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise on a daily basis.
