Job summary

D2 Technical Services seeks an AWS Cloud Engineer to support an intelligence customer in Springfield, VA. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and involves maintaining AWS infrastructure, automating deployments, and delivering full-stack solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and contribute to secure, scalable systems in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years IT experience and DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant.
• Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (Security+ CE or CCNA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain security requirements for operation of systems with A&A Team.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure in AWS (autoscaling, new services, cost optimization).
• Document processes and configurations.
• Operate AWS services: EC2, S3, Load Balancer, RDS.
• Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop full-stack web apps and resolve production issues.
• Mentor junior developers and review code.
• Write unit tests and perform code-quality assessments.
