Job summary

SSA LLC seeks a Cloud Engineer for a Federal program in Springfield, VA. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and sponsorship for CI Polygraph within the first year.

You will automate deployments, optimize performance, and integrate with enterprise authentication services within an agile team. Responsibilities include building secure infrastructure in AWS, maintaining monitoring, producing detailed docs, and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years IT experience.
• Meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements including one of the following: Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA
• Experience with AWS and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, Load Balancer, RDS.
• Automate and optimize service deployments.
• Develop full-stack web applications and resolve production issues.
• Mentor junior developers and review code.
• Support security operations and documentation.
• Collaborate with customers during requirements gathering.
