Job summary

Leidos is seeking a TS/SCI cleared Application Support Engineer to oversee and support a media processing workflow for the NDOC under the DOMEX Technology Platform contract. You will monitor ingest pipelines, act as Tier 1 escalation, diagnose bottlenecks, and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve issues within strict SLAs.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field and 8–12 years of experience or Masters with 6–10 years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph.
• Experience in technical/enterprise software support or systems administration.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server.
• SQL queries to investigate application state and metrics.
• Understanding of digital media concepts and transfer protocols.
• Excellent communication bridging users and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor health, availability, and throughput of media ingest apps and digital asset management tools.
• Act as Tier 1 escalation point for clients and stakeholders.
• Identify bottlenecks, failed jobs, and errors before impact.
• Triage, investigate, and resolve issues within SLA windows.
• Document incident lifecycles and root-cause analyses.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux/Windows server infrastructure.
• Translate latency/failure patterns into diagnostics and requirements.
• Translate recurring complaints into bugs, user stories, and feature requests.
