Job summary

CGS (Contact Government Services) seeks a Discovery Business and System Analyst to join a fast-paced legal team. You will document, analyze, and optimize business processes across portfolios, supporting training and redesign activities while evaluating IT solutions and marketing materials for efficacy.

The role emphasizes requirements management, gap analysis, test planning, and data-driven decision making to enable efficient government contracting projects and improved business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Document and manage new and existing business processes to facilitate training, analysis, and redesign.
• Analyze existing and new business processes to identify opportunities for improving workforce efficiency.
• Analyze operational business requirements and conduct a gap analysis for modifications to existing processes.
• Create and maintain a requirements database documenting how each requirement is supported.
• Validate that proposed solutions meet the underlying need.
• Collect marketing materials from providers claiming to satisfy requirements.
• Document and manage new and existing functional capabilities provided by IT solutions.
• Assess capabilities vs. requirements to find technology gaps.
• Compare marketing materials and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for the PMO.
• Validate that solutions deliver new functional capabilities addressing requirements.
• Build and execute test scripts to evaluate products for purchase.
• Review configuration changes to maintain an accurate capability picture.
• Perform other systems analysis tasks as assigned.
