Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Customer Trust Specialist to support security engagements with enterprise customers, ensuring trust and transparency for Claude-based workloads. You will partner with Go-to-Market, Legal, Deal Desk, Product, and Security to simplify the security posture for customers and their auditors.

You will handle complex negotiations, audits, and executive briefings, turning learnings into reusable playbooks and runbooks, and building tooling with Claude to automate evidence

Qualifications

• Proven security expertise across engineering, governance, risk, and compliance.
• Hands-on customer-facing security work including audits and questionnaires.
• Ability to advocate security while balancing business needs under pressure.
• Comfort in discussing security with a CISO and verifying claims with engineers.
• Experience creating reusable security positions, playbooks, and standard responses.
• Excellent written communication used to inform teammates and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate security terms with regulated enterprise customers and assist with Legal when needed.
• Handle complex questionnaires, RFPs, and audits outside standard answer banks and drive to completion.
• Lead onsite and remote security audits, scope agendas, and close findings in collaboration with customers.
• Present security posture in briefings to address architecture, data handling, tenancy, and training.
• Contribute to Legal-approved positions and audit runbooks to enable repeatable resolutions.
• Build with Claude: automate evidence gathering and RFP tooling for the team.
• Help write and maintain customer-facing trust artifacts and ensure security claims match reality.
• Route gaps and new capability asks to Product and Security, closing with owners.
• Identify audit patterns and surface insights to leadership on shifting customer expectations.
• Track engagement metrics and report on them regularly.
