Kindred Concepts, Inc. seeks a Trust & Safety leader to analyze risk signals, govern policies, and guide enforcement standards across the marketplace. You will translate insights into policy, QA, and product decisions, shaping howWe protect users from fraud and abuse.

The role sits at the intersection of analysis and governance, sharing ownership of policy changes, incident reviews, and risk intelligence with cross-functional partners. A strong data-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Trust & Safety, Risk, Integrity, Fraud, or Platform Governance
• Track record of risk or trend analysis that changed policy or product
• Comfort using data to find trends and build reporting (SQL or similar)
• Experience owning or evolving policies, enforcement standards, appeals, or QA/audit in live enforcement
• Experience with fraud, abuse, or platform misuse
• Excellent written and verbal communication to distill analysis for executives
• High judgment and ability to make principled tradeoffs

Responsibilities

• Own Trust & Safety policies, including creation, iteration, versioning, and deprecation
• Develop policy for emerging risks informed by incidents, regulation, and practice
• Define enforcement standards and decision frameworks for consistent operations
• Help shape and own the appeals framework as it evolves
• Ensure policies align with Terms of Service and real-world incidents
• Maintain policy change logs and governance processes
• Co-own QA and calibration with Operations Enablement to translate policy changes into training and tooling
• Own trend analysis and risk reporting across incidents, actions, and appeals
• Monitor and refine member and vendor risk signals with cross-functional teams
• Identify emerging harms early and size their potential impact
• Lead root-cause analysis and drive system changes
• Provide data-backed recommendations to Product, Policy, and Operations and track effectiveness
• Translate risk findings into leadership narratives
• Contribute to fraud and abuse detection through pattern/link analysis
• Investigate referral and promo abuse and suspicious bookings
• Partner on mitigations addressing root causes
• Support marketplace integrity with Product and Policy collaborations
