Job summary

Columbia Bank seeks an Associate Trust Officer to administer simple trusts and assist with complex trusts, while growing client relationships. You will support account setup, annual accountings, and compliance, and participate in business development activities alongside senior officers.

The role requires 2–4 years in trust or related services, strong communication, and ability to work in a team as well as independently. Onsite in Las Vegas with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred if practical trust experience exists.
• 2-4 years experience in trust or related financial services.
• 2-4 years knowledge of the trust data processing system and trust accounting basics.
• 1 year exposure to fiduciary duties and client-facing responsibilities.
• Developing interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in trust administration and client service tasks.
• Support setup and closure of accounts with accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and retain client relationships; participate in business development activities.
• Prepare annual accountings for court on Conservatorship and Estate accounts.
• Contribute to internal and client reports and presentations.
• Assist senior trust officers with administration of complex trusts.
• Ensure compliance with bank regulations and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Coach, mentor, or train others as needed.
