Job summary

Columbia Bank is seeking a Trust Officer to develop new business, administer moderately complex trust relationships, and provide expert guidance on trust matters. You will live up to high service standards for existing clients and support branches with trust product education.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team across multiple branches. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; practical trust experience valued.
• CTFA or MBA preferred.
• 5 years of Trust Officer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through marketing and branch education in trust products.
• Administer trust accounts and maintain files to ensure compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on trust administration and estate tax matters.
• Collaborate with branches and professionals to build a strong referral network.
