Job summary

First American Trust seeks a capable leader to supervise daily banking operations and support a designated area of trust services. You will manage client calls, process requests, and drive service levels with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years in banking operations and 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, with strong communication and collaboration skills to coach staff and implement improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of directly related experience in a banking services environment.
• 2+ years demonstrated experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience managing day-to-day operational responsibilities while contributing to projects.
• Ability to enforce processes that ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Developing leadership skills with the ability to guide and support team members.
• Provides accurate and reliable information while demonstrating strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of team members handling client calls and processing service requests in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide leadership, coaching, training, performance feedback, and employee development support.
• Assist with scheduling, performance management, and wage-hour compliance.
• Participate in workforce planning, goal setting, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Process client transactions via phone, fax, email, or mail and assist with special projects.
• Serve as an advocate for team members by supporting engagement initiatives and communicating updates.
• Interview candidates and provide hiring recommendations to management.
• Prepare and deliver regular operational updates, performance metrics, and status reports to leadership.
• Perform other duties and special assignments as needed to support business objectives.
